Septimus Heap (Book 5): Syren
I’m waiting for this book to come out. Somehow, this series is far better than Harry Potter, so far. Mainly, the way Miss Angie Sage tells the story is better than Ms. Rowling. Not to mention better than Ms Meyer (all right, kill me Twilight fans). I guess it’s a matter of taste like Naruto fans not liking Rorouni Kenshin/Samurai X while Rorouni Kenshin/Samurai X fans can tolerate Naruto. (I’m a Kenshin fan)
Not many people like the Septimus Heap series, I grant you that. With the extra ‘e’s and weird spelling (flight=flyte), I guess it turns off those guys I call ’spellcheckers’. And lots of readers are also ’spellcheckers’. The mix of modern and magic (pistols with magic bullets anyone?) and the popularity of Harry Potter certainly makes the Heap series sound like almost a copy of Harry Potter without the School for Magic.
But really, try to read this and immerse yourself in a fantastic world where everything is different from ours. Hey, if people can like ‘Stardust’ by Neil Gaiman, why not Septimus Heap?

Hmm, I’ve heard that Syren comes out in September this year. Exactly when, I am not sure. I hope ‘Syren’ to be as much fun as or maybe even more fun than ‘Queste’.
But in the mean time let’s just return to the waiting game…shall we. lol

There is a typo on the cover of the 4th book i noticed it earlier where is says Ehpaniah Grebe instead if Ephaniah Grebe.

I agree with you that Septimus Heap is better that Harry Potter. Two of my friends introduced me to it and now I am a fanatic! When a friend told m queste had come out, I rushed to the bookstore and got it and read it that night. I recently found out that Syren is out and I’m eager to read it! It has been a while since I gotten my nose in a good book.

Hey, I am from Germany and I really love Septimus Heap. At the moment I am just at the beginning of Magyk, but I am allready extremly excitet to read the other books. BUT I have to say, that Harry Potter is the best book in this world. Septimus Heap is better than Twilight, but not aswell as HARRY POTTER!!!
